Our whole unpeeled nuts are how the original tiger nuts were consumed, before any modern day processing became an option.

After being dried for 3 months in the hot African sun, the skins of the nut are extra tough, for this reason, these unpeeled nuts are usually only used (after being re-hydrated in water) for making tiger nut milk, or for making the Spanish drink horchata... however we hear that some people still prefer eating these over the peeled ones!
