What Are Barley Grass and Wheatgrass Juice Powders?
Juice powders are fundamentally different from standard grass powders. To make a juice powder, the young cereal grasses are first juiced to extract the liquid, and then that juice is gently dried at low temperatures. This removes the indigestible cellulose fibre while concentrating the bioavailable vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and chlorophyll. The result is a powder that is significantly more nutrient dense, more easily absorbed, and more potent spoonful for spoonful than conventional whole leaf grass powders.
Why Choose Juice Powders Over Whole Leaf Grass Powders?
Whole leaf grass powders contain large amounts of cellulose fibre that the human digestive system cannot fully break down. This means many of the nutrients pass through unabsorbed. Juice powders solve this by removing the fibre before drying, giving you direct access to the concentrated nutrition within the grass juice itself. You would need to consume roughly ten times the amount of whole leaf powder to match the nutrient delivery of a single serving of juice powder. Our organic juice powders include barley grass juice powder, wheatgrass juice powder, oat grass juice powder, and kamut grass juice powder.
How Do You Use Organic Juice Powders?
Because juice powders are so concentrated, you only need a small amount, typically one teaspoon per serving. Stir into water, add to a smoothie, or mix into fresh vegetable juice. They dissolve more readily than whole leaf powders thanks to the absence of fibre. Many people rotate between different grass juice powders throughout the week to benefit from the unique nutrient profiles of each grass. Barley grass juice powder is particularly valued for its exceptional chlorophyll content, while wheatgrass juice powder is prized for its broad spectrum enzyme activity.
Are Your Juice Powders Certified Organic?
Every juice powder in this collection is certified organic and produced without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilisers. The grasses are harvested at peak nutritional potency during the jointing stage, when vitamin, mineral, and enzyme levels are at their highest. If you are building a comprehensive green nutrition routine, these juice powders combine exceptionally well with our chlorella, spirulina, and marine phytoplankton for a complete spectrum of plant based micronutrition.
