What are tonic herbal teas and why are they different?

Tonic herbal teas are loose leaf infusions made from adaptogenic and medicinal herbs that have been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and indigenous healing systems. Unlike ordinary herbal teas, tonic teas are brewed from potent whole herbs chosen for their ability to support energy, immunity, and longevity over time. Our collection includes jiaogulan (gynostemma), chaga, reishi, and other revered botanicals, all sourced directly from trusted growers and packed in biodegradable pouches. Every tea in this range is designed for daily brewing using traditional preparation methods that extract the full spectrum of beneficial compounds.

Which loose leaf herbal tea is best for daily wellness?

Jiaogulan, often called the immortality herb, is one of the most widely researched adaptogenic teas in the world. It contains over 80 saponins called gypenosides that support cardiovascular health, balanced blood sugar, and calm energy without caffeine. Chaga tea is another excellent daily choice, prized for its extraordinary antioxidant content and immune supporting beta glucans. Reishi tea is traditionally taken in the evening to promote restful sleep and support the body's stress response. If you are new to tonic herbs, any of these three make an ideal starting point.

How should I brew loose leaf tonic herbal tea?

Traditional preparation is simple but matters. For leafy herbs like jiaogulan, use water just below boiling and steep for three to five minutes. Woody herbs and mushrooms such as chaga and reishi benefit from a longer simmer of 15 to 20 minutes to fully extract their medicinal compounds. Many of our tonic teas can be re-brewed two or three times, with some practitioners noting that the second brew is the sweetest. Full brewing guidance is included with every product.

Are Na'vi Organics herbal teas tested for purity?
