Premium Jiaogulan Gynostemma Loose Leaf Tea
Full Description ✧
Jiaogulan Gynostemma Pentaphyllum
Wake up & go to bed with Gynostemma: Jiaogulan Gynostemma is one of Asia's most well-researched herbs. It supports almost every major system within the body and is true Yin/Yang balanced herb meaning it has a relaxing and energising action dependent upon the body's need
Morning Upgrade: Start the day with Jiaogulan to energise & strengthen without stressing your adrenals. Jiaogulan tea is naturally caffeine-free and has an uplifting bittersweet refreshing taste making it the perfect drink for first thing in the morning
Wind-down ritual: As a dual-adaptogen, Gynostemma Pentaphyllum Jiaogulan has a biphasic effect on the body. As a dual adaptogen, Jiaogulan acts like a thermostat. When you're ready to relax, Jiaogulan dials down the systems that have been (over) active during the day to ease stresses & help you let go of work. Also very helpful for shift workers when your body clock runs contrary to the body's natural circadian rhythms
Key Jiaogulan benefits: Jiaogulan is a naturally detoxifying and energising tonic herb. Well-researched for weight loss and known to regulate Nitric Oxide for improved heart, brain and hormonal health. Gynostemma tea is often recommended for anxious, agitated people with hypertension and stress headaches
Wonderful for women: Jiaogulan contains an abundance of Gypenosides - a neuroprotective, anticancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-diabetic compound. Gypenosides are very similiar to Ginsenosides found in Panax Ginseng yet Gynostemma typically has over three times as many of the active compounds as Ginseng. Gynostemma is often endearingly referred to as "Womens Ginseng" as it is much kinder on a woman's body than Asian Ginseng and can be taken for extended periods by both men and women

* Our Jiaogulan is grown by a collective of tribal farmers in Northern Thailand. The co-operative does not generate enough income to pay the expensive fees required for international organic certification on each of the farms, so even though our Jiaogulan is grown with great care using only organic practices, we cannot officially certify our tea as organic
