Palo Santo Essential Oil (100% Pure Undiluted Premium Grade) 5 ml
✧ What is Palo Santo Oil?
Palo Santo, or "Holy Wood", is a unique tree of the South American tropical dry forests, from the same fragrant family as frankincense and myrrh. Its oil is one of the truly great aromatic resins of the natural world, prized in ceremony and in aromatherapy for its rich, sweet, resinous scent. It has been treasured by the indigenous peoples and shamans of the region for thousands of years.
This 100% pure, undiluted Palo Santo oil is a rare find. We tried samples from many places before settling on an ethical producer whose quality we were happy to welcome into the Na'vi tribe.
✧ Why is our Palo Santo oil genuinely sustainable?
You may have heard that Palo Santo is endangered. In fact the species we use, Bursera graveolens, is listed by the IUCN as Least Concern and is not a protected species; the "endangered" idea comes largely from confusion with a different tree. The real concern is unethical harvesting: living trees being cut down prematurely for their wood, before they have died and aged naturally.
Our oil sidesteps that problem entirely. The producers we source from distil the oil only from the berries of the Palo Santo tree, not the wood, so no trees are cut at all. The tree keeps growing and keeps fruiting, and the oil is gathered from what it freely offers. That makes ours a genuinely sustainable Palo Santo product, not just a responsibly harvested one.

✧ How do you use Palo Santo oil?
This is a pure, undiluted oil with a rich, resinous aroma, a little goes a long way.
- To scent a space: add a few drops to a diffuser or oil burner, on its own or blended with citrus or other resins.
- For ceremony and meditation: a single drop on the hands or a tissue carries the aroma when you want to create a calm, considered space, a fragrant alternative to burning the wood.
- On the skin: always dilute first. Add a few drops to a carrier oil (such as jojoba or sweet almond) before any use on the skin, and patch test as you would with any pure essential oil.
Please note: for external aromatic use only. Keep away from eyes, do not take internally, and keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a medical condition, speak to a qualified practitioner before using essential oils.
