Boswellia neglecta is a hardy tree that has adapted to survive long periods of drought, storing water within its trunk until the rains return. For generations, its dark resin has been gathered, used in sacred ceremonies and treasured by the communities who know it as Black Frankincense.

Darker, smokier and more deeply resinous than the more common varieties of frankincense, it offers a distinctive character that reflects the landscape from which it comes.
