Experience the rejuvenating and nourishing nature of our pure Organic A2 Desi Gir cow ghee. It is handmade in small batches, with every step of making this revered ghee done by hand on the farm in the ancient Vedic Bilona method for the lightest, most exquisite flavour.
Cultured A2 Gir Ghee is not ghee made from butter/cream, but a Ghee made using natural A2 yoghurt as it was been traditionally made in India for thousands of years.
Our Cultured A2 Ghee is made using fresh Gir cow milk. After milking, the milk is brought to a boil and left to cool naturally to room temperature. Once at room temperature, it is inoculated with a natural starter culture and left overnight to turn into yoghurt. The yoghurt is then churned during pre-dawn hours to separate raw white butter using the ancient process of 'Bilona' - clockwise- anticlockwise slow churning.
We work with an Organic HOMA farm in rural India. Making authentic ghee is an integral part of their regenerative and deeply spiritual farming practices. Desi ghee is a healthier and superior alternative to even the very best English Ghee due to the presence of A2 proteins over A1 proteins.
The Bilona process further preserves essential nutrients for all the immune-boosting benefits of ghee. Our Desi ghee is loaded with vitamins, antioxidants and healthy fat to aid digestion and improve the absorption and assimilation of essential nutrients for enhanced wellness.
