The Story Behind Na'vi
The story of Na'vi began in the kitchen. Jemma wanted to eat foods, herbs and supplements that were wild, organic and unprocessed. Free from the shortcuts and fillers that many products seem to rely on.
What started as a personal search slowly became Na'vi Organics. Since 2014, every product on our shelves began as something Jemma found for her family first. It is a slow, careful way to build a range, and is the reason why Na'vi has stayed very personal and intimate. The products are not mass produced or bought from wholesalers in bulk. What Jemma and Ali offer is shared with the same love and care you would gift something to a friend.
Life Off Grid
Jemma lives off grid in the Scottish Highlands with her husband Ali and their two young daughters. Alongside Na'vi, the girls are home educated, learning as much from the soil and the seasons as from books. Days are full keeping chickens, planting, growing, chopping firewood, creating, working hard and playing.
It is a way of living that has grown naturally from the same instincts that built Na'vi. Independent and free spirited, yet grounded and practical. The foods the family eats, the herbs used, the way the year unfolds, all of it feeds back into what Na'vi offers and why.
Building an Ethical, Living Brand
Balancing creativity with precision, nature with business, and introspection with expansiveness, Jemma's desire is to keep the family run business steady, trustworthy and beautifully efficient. Her knowledge touches functional medicine, homeopathy, cranio sacral therapy, Ayurvedic and Chinese tonic traditions alongside the practical, sometimes unglamorous reality of feeding a family well every day.
When you read a Na'vi product description and feel the essence of the land and producers, the excitement felt when the product was sourced and the reason why it is chosen, you are experiencing the heart of Na'vi. Foods and remedies direct from nature for the very challenging and complex issues of modern living, direct from people who wish to live, work and create in harmony with the land and each other.
Jemma and her family invite you into the stories, rhythms and traditions Na'vi connects with to grow and uncover exactly what it is you need to feel your best.
