Arctic Sea Salt Flakes · Remineralising Pure Ocean Salt
✧ What makes Arctic sea salt different?
Salt may seem simple, but much of its natural mineral richness is often lost during processing before it reaches the kitchen.
Most sea salt flakes are almost entirely sodium chloride, with very little of their natural mineral complexity remaining. Harvested from clean Arctic waters, our Arctic Sea Salt is different. Naturally rich in macro and trace minerals, creating remarkable depth of flavour and a crisp, crystalline texture.
This is the cleanest, purest and most mineral-dense salt we have ever found.
✧ Where does our Arctic sea salt come from?
Great sea salt begins with clean water.
Our Arctic sea salt is produced exclusively from the mineral-rich, clean waters of Breiðafjörður in western Iceland, where the cold North Atlantic meets one of the world's cleanest coastlines.
The seawater is slowly evaporated in traditional salt pans using Iceland's natural geothermal heat. Never boiled, bleached or chemically processed, ensuring the salt stays exactly as nature intended.

✧ How do you use Arctic sea salt?
It can be tempting to save exceptional ingredients for special occasions. But great salt isn't just for finishing dishes, and it isn't meant to stay in the cupboard waiting for guests. It belongs beside the stove and within easy reach, ready to be used generously every day.
- Cooking: a little whilst steaming vegetables, sprinkled liberally when roasting or frying, and a big scoop in soups, broths and casseroles.
- Finishing: a pinch lifts seafood, salads and vegetables, softens the bitterness of greens, and balances the richness of oils and fats.
- Sweet things: it is incredible how salt improves sweet recipes, especially anything made with cacao. A pinch softens cacao's bitterness and deepens luxury chocolate recipes.
- Fermenting: a clean salt is essential for a stable brine, so you are not concentrating contaminants as the ferment develops. This is the salt we reach for with our own fermentation range.
Salt awakens and completes dishes, bringing out the natural sweetness of fruits and vegetables, enhancing umami and balancing competing flavours.
