Moringa Latte - HOMA Organic Grown

£14.95

What is our Moringa Latte?

A hot spiced milky drink made the way it has been made in India for generations: cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, tulsi and vanilla, with moringa leaf, the Tree of Life, folded through, and a little unrefined jaggery to sweeten.

Every ingredient is HOMA organic grown, and the final product is all dried, ground and blended together for us on the same farm.

What does it taste like, and when to drink it?

Warm, milky and gently spiced, it tastes a little like a chai latte, with the soft green note of moringa beneath the cinnamon, ginger and cardamom. Sweet, but not too sweet.

Best of all, there is no caffeine in it. That is why so many make it their evening cup, or the warm, comforting drink to have before bed.

What is HOMA (Agnihotra) farming?

HOMA farming honours the land as a living being. Rooted in Ayurveda, it is both a science and a sacred ritual, performed at sunrise and at sunset.

Most farming tends only the soil. HOMA farming goes further, recognising that a plant is nourished as much by the atmosphere around it as by the earth below. Organic HOMA preparations feed the land while the daily Agnihotra fire ceremonies purify the air, raising every plant within an energetic field of abundant vitality, a vitality carried through into the produce we harvest.

We are blessed to work with a very special HOMA farm in India, and we love sharing their harvest.

How do you make a Moringa Latte?

One teaspoon in milk, or a milk alternative. It is lovely with oat, almond or coconut milk, warming and gently spiced.

  • Put the milk in a pan with the latte powder.
  • Warm gently, until just below a simmer, then take off the heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes.
  • Pour into a cup, and add a little jaggery or rapadura to taste if you like.

It blends just as easily with a milk frother. Read more about our moringa leaf, or pair it with our Lion's Mane for a caffeine-free evening cup.
